  • Shoes

    You may wear any type of shoe you like as long as they are CLEAN AND DRY.


    Please bring a pair of shoes that are your exclusive indoor training shoes. You can even leave them here in a cubbie.


    You will spend a significant amount of time on the floors during your workout – stretching, foam rolling, planking, doing push-ups, lying on your back, kneeling, crawling, etc. Imagine all the things that might be on the bottom of other people’s shoes – like goose poop (not kidding), snow, ice, water, and dirt. Now imagine lying in it yourself!


    Please, set a good example for your workout partners and fellow members by changing into clean, dry, never or rarely worn-outside shoes before you walk onto the workout floor. Even on a dry day, the dust from the parking lot is unappealing to put your face into.

  • How to Make Reservations

    Members who schedule their sessions far in advance are setting themselves up for greater success by demonstrating their commitment to the program by planning their work and then working their plan.


    Method #1 (Easy) You can schedule one session at a time on the SCHEDULE page of our website. Simply log in, and click on the sessions you want to schedule.


    Method #2 (Easier) Download the Zen Planner Member app. Log in, and go!

    Method #3 (Easiest) If you want to schedule a recurring appointment for the entire 6 months of your membership, we can set that up super easily on our end. For example, if you want to train at 7am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we can do that in just a couple key strokes. And then, if you need/want to change any of the appointments manually (like to go on vacation), just login and make the adjustments.

  • Your First 30 Days

    In your first 30 days, it's safe to say you're going to have a pretty significant paradigm shift when it comes to "exercising."


    Most new people are going to learn a whole new language, learn a brand new way of  moving, and even if you're an experienced "exerciser," you're going to learn a new way to organize the workout. 


    You're going to move better, get stronger, and feel great.


    And chances are good that you're going to love it. 


    Here's how to get the most of it:


    STEP 1: DEFINE YOUR EXACT FITNESS GOALS.

    • Why are you here, how can we help, what do you want to accomplish.
    • Based on your goals, decide how you will track your results.
    • Take initial metrics to measure your progress.

    STEP 2: TEST THE WATERS - COMMIT TO THE 30-DAY TRIAL MEMBERSHIP.

    • Complete your first month and all your sessions in 4 weeks or less.
    • Track your progess and celebrate your success!

    STEP 3: MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME.

    • Make friends with your fellow Vitruvianos.
    • We're all here to inspire each other to greatness and hold each other accountable in our efforts.
    • Find the drinking fountain, find the bathrooms, find us on social media!

    STEP 4: CREATE YOUR PLAN FOR THE NEXT 90 DAYS.

    • Pick the membership option that works for your schedule and your budget. Ask us questions if you're not sure how to decide.
    • Show up consistently and put in the work to build on your progress.
    • Schedule yourself at least 12 weeks in advance.

    STEP 5: ASSESS, CELEBRATE, AND RECOMMIT

    • Measure your progress over time using your personalized metrics.
    • Take time to recognize and celebrate your wins along the way!
    • Change your strategy as needed and recommit to your goals often.


  • Reservations Guidelines

    Our system will allow you to make, change and cancel reservations outside of a 12-hour window and up to 90 days into the future.


    If you DO try to cancel an appointment (online or on the app) inside that 12-hour window, it will be considered a late cancel and the session will be deducted from your total number of available sessions.


    When you change your schedule, we're not alerted to it. You may want to let us know what's going on in your life so we're not worried about you.

  • How to Contact Us

    We're always excited to hear from you and there are several ways you can reach us. Some ways are better than others depending on what you need to talk about.


    Method #1 If you need to communicate something short, easy, urgent (like you're running late, you're late cancelling, or ask a simple question), TEXT us on the landline. 303-455-0437


    Whoever is on the floor, will get your message and reply accordingly.


    Method #2 If you need to discuss something that might warrant a more involved reply or some time for us to dig into your topic, an email is probably best. Staff, vmfit, com. (you know where to put the @ and the .)


    Method #3 You can always call us on the good old fashioned telephone! However, when we're with clients, we won't be able to answer. So, leave a message and we'll get back to you. 303-455-0437

  • Waitlists

    Sometimes the session you want is full. In that case, join the waitlist. There is frequently movement on the roster and your chances of getting in are always good.


    If you do get in, you'll receive a text message alerting you that you're in. When that happens, you're in! Just show up ready to rock.


    Getting in off the waitlist can happen anytime outside our 12-hour reservation window. For example, a 6PM cancellation for a 6AM session will get you in. The same is true for a 2AM cancellation for a 2PM session. 


    If you aren't willing to be ready to make it to your session on such short notice, you should remove yourself from the waitlist.

  • HSA/FSA Reimbursement

    Your membership payments may be eligible for reimbursement from your Health Spending or Flex Spending Accounts. Click here to see if you qualify.

  • Amenities

    Here are some of the extras you can expect at Vitruvian Fitness:

    • Towels
    • Shower (with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner - nothing fancy but they'll wash the sweat and stink off)
    • Hair dryers
    • Filtered Water (bring your own bottle, buy one of ours, or use one of our tumblers)
    • Coffee and Tea
    • And a HUGE parking lot right out front!

  • Membership Holds

    Over the course of 6 months, things inevitably come up: business travel, family vacations, illnesses, injuries, etc. So, we have a plan for that.


    If you know you will be gone for two weeks or longer, we'll just put your membership on hold. Go to https://www.vmfit.com/hold and fill out the Member Hold Request form. We ask for 5 business days notice.


    Note: Our system will not allow an open end date for your hold. If you do not know the date, let's discuss together to determine what's best.


    If you only plan to be gone for a week, all our members have just come in for extra workouts the weeks before, after, or both to make up for the missed week.


    If you have a scenario that doesn't fit into what we've outlined here, just ask!

  • Membership Cancellations

    Our memberships are bundled for a specific period of time and/or a fixed number of sessions. 


    In the unfortunate event that circumstances change for you that you aren't able finish the term of your membership, you can submit a Membership Cancellation Request Form. https://www.vmfit.com/cancel


    Memberships may be cancelled for three reasons. They are:

    • Relocation greater than 10 miles from the studio.
    • Injury or Illness that prevents you from doing any type of exercise offered at Vitruvian Fitness.
    • Significant change in financial status that prevents you from being able to finish your membership term.

    We ask for 5 business days notice to cancel your membership.


    When your membership is cancelled, any sessions or time left on the membership is forfeited effective the last day of your membership.

  • Guest Workouts

    Once you've become a full-fledged member, we would love for you to share your experience with a friend. We have special offers for you to refer a friend or have them join you for one of your workouts. Just ask us how this works and what's best for your situation!

  • What is a Vitruviano?

    The Vitruvian Man is a famous drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci (circa 1490) whose purpose was to illustrate the balance, proportion, and symmetry of the human form. The circle and the square in which our man is displayed is said to illustrate the connection between the spiritual and corporeal elements of life. 


    To get even nerdier, the story gets more interesting! These notions of balance and connectedness were based on the work of a Roman architect named Marcus Vitruvius Pollio who lived around the 1st Century B.C.


    And thus, Vitruvianos, or more precisely Vitruviani and Vitruviane, or even honorifically - Vitruvianissimi, are members of our community who are seeking to better balance their body, mind, and spititual connections.
